JACK KRASS

Linas K. Krasauskas, aka Jack Krass, is a DJ, producer, event organizer, singer and the founder of Play4n4 project. His music is a polystylistic combination of house, funk, soul and techno. Linas’ musical journey began at the age of 4, when his parents signed him for singing lessons. He later went on to study piano, cello and music theory. Linas was performing in bands as well as the Balys Dvarionas‘ music school string orchestra. After graduation he lived in London, Mallorca and Grand Canaria for five years, soaking up the local music culture, and his motto “No matter what I do, it is four to the floor” became the inspiration for Play4n4 collective. Linas is always looking forward, and one of his main goals is to break the boundaries of genres in order to develop his unique and recognizable style.

Simas Petkevičius leads a multifaceted career as a professional saxophonist, producer, live performer and DJ, delving into classical and jazz as well as electronic music. Simas is currently studying contemporary music and free improvisation master‘s degree at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. He names avant-garde, jazz and contemporary classical music as his main influences. Simas’ work is characterized by free-form improvisation, sound experiments, and the integration of acoustic instrument timbres into dance music genres.

RAMBYNAS

Music is an integral part of Simonas’ life - it can create an atmosphere and set the mood, be a powerful form of self-expression and bond us together. Simonas Rambynas plays only vinyl records, but is not prejudiced against other formats – he simply happens to have a huge record collection and is willing to share. Simonas enjoys playing a wide variety of genres – pop and rock, folk and jazz, disco, country, funk, soul, hip-hop, trip hop, DnB and many others. As long as music has an emotional effect on the listener, Simonas will play it - the feeling of belonging to a community is of utmost importance to him.
